Google has recently rolled out an urgent security patch for its Chrome browser, targeting a critical zero-day vulnerability, identified as CVE-2026-85046, which has been actively leveraged by hackers. This security loophole, a type confusion bug, resides in Chrome's open-source JavaScript and WebAssembly engine, V8. Moreover, the update also rectifies an additional 11 security issues.
