At IFA 2026, Xiaomi unveiled its first full-sized humanoid bionic robot, CyberOne (known as "Tie Da" in Chinese), marking its inaugural overseas appearance. The event drew significant attention from both audiences and media outlets. Originally introduced in 2022, the initial version of Tie Da stands at 177 centimeters tall, weighs 52 kilograms, and is equipped with 21 degrees-of-freedom joint modules, showcasing a range of self-developed technologies by Xiaomi.

This year, the latest iteration of Tie Da made its debut at the 2026 World Robot Conference. Standing at an approximate height of 170 centimeters and weighing 66 kilograms, this new-generation model boasts an impressive 66 degrees of freedom. It features enhanced motion capabilities and an upgraded body structure, reflecting Xiaomi's continuous innovation in robotics.

Currently, Tie Da is undergoing a practical internship at Xiaomi's automotive factory. Over the past few months, it has demonstrated remarkable progress, with the success rate of bilateral operations at the self-tapping nut assembly station soaring from 90.2% to an impressive 98%. This achievement underscores the robot's potential in industrial applications and highlights Xiaomi's commitment to advancing robotic technology.
