Elon Musk's tunneling company, The Boring Company, has set a special condition for some investors in its latest funding round: participation in the investment requires assistance in building the company's business. According to sources familiar with the matter, the company has asked some of its investors to help with employee recruitment or business expansion, such as introducing government officials to regions planning to construct tunnels. The Boring Company develops tunneling equipment and claims that its underground excavation costs are lower than those of traditional construction companies. The company recently completed a funding round, with a valuation of approximately $20 billion.
