On September 2, social media platform X announced that all platform earnings for U.S. creators, including payments from the 'Creator Monetization Program' and creator subscription revenues, will now be processed through X Money. Creators can receive instant payments without waiting for settlement periods or meeting minimum withdrawal thresholds. This change applies exclusively to U.S.-based creators, with other regions continuing to use Stripe. Meanwhile, following X Money's launch, a hacking incident occurred, resulting in numerous users receiving password reset emails, though no system breaches were detected.
