Unitree Technology has unveiled its cutting-edge fire emergency response solutions, which leverage quadruped robots. This lineup includes a variety of models, each tailored for specific tasks such as equipment transport, detection, fire scene modeling, high-temperature endurance, water cannon operation, and reconnaissance. Clearly defined functions allow these robots to confront open flames head-on, construct detailed spatial maps of fire scenes, deploy water sprays to douse flames, perform environmental monitoring, and facilitate two-way communication with trapped individuals. This marks not Unitree’s initial venture into this domain; the company has been showcasing relevant collaborations and solutions since April of this year. Presently, this series of robotic dogs has undergone rigorous testing at the practical firefighting training base in Shaxian, Fujian Province. Furthermore, collaborative research and development efforts have commenced with industry leaders such as Raycus Laser and CRRC.
