US startup Operation Bluebird has launched the social platform Twitter.now, founded by former Twitter legal counsel Stephen Coates, aiming to replicate the user experience of Twitter before its acquisition and rebranding by Musk. Additionally, the platform incorporates the Vera AI fact-checking system powered by Google Gemini. Previously, the X platform attempted to block Twitter.now from launching through legal means, but in April this year, a Delaware judge dismissed the request, noting that X had abandoned its claims to Twitter-related intellectual property. Currently, Twitter.now is in the testing phase with only a few hundred users and has no affiliation with X Corp. The platform faces challenges such as attracting users back, while the X platform has not yet issued a public response.
