On August 28, the world's first 14,000-ton ring rail crane, jointly developed by XCMG Group and Sinopec Heavy Lifting & Transportation Co., Ltd., rolled off the production line in Xuzhou. This crane can complete the lifting of all modules for the dual reactors of the "Hualong One 2.0" nuclear power plant with a single positioning and arm length, marking China as the first country globally to possess independent equipment capabilities for the integrated lifting of all modules of this type of nuclear power plant. The crane integrates cutting-edge technologies such as ultra-large structural mechanics, AI vision and LiDAR anti-collision systems, and digital twins. It features an innovative electric direct-drive technology, achieving over 30% comprehensive energy savings and a 25% increase in operational efficiency, with over 90% localization of its core components.
