Independently developed by Harbin Electric Machinery Company Limited (HEC), a subsidiary of Harbin Electric Corporation, this cutting-edge equipment has successfully passed a rigorous 168-hour continuous and stable operation trial at the Shengshan Wind Farm in Sunwu County, marking a significant milestone by bridging an international technological void.
Leveraging the world’s inaugural high-voltage direct-connected topological architecture, this innovative solution minimizes energy losses and boasts millisecond-level dynamic reactive power response capabilities. As a result, it has garnered acclaim as the power grid’s “ultimate stabilizer” and “swift reactive power reserve.” This advanced technology plays a pivotal role in stabilizing voltage levels, boosting the short-circuit capacity of renewable energy power plants, and enhancing the overall load-bearing capacity and resilience of the power grid. Its implementation is instrumental in advancing the development of next-generation power systems, safeguarding energy security, and establishing a robust foundation for the widespread adoption and utilization of renewable energy sources.
