Specifically, it calls for the advancement of demonstration bases designed for comparative testing of various technology routes, such as solid-state batteries, and the deployment of multi-megawatt independent energy storage demonstration power stations.
Simultaneously, the plan accelerates the establishment of the Shanghai International Shipping Green Fuel Certification and Bunkering Center. It also encourages application demonstrations in industrial settings, including hydrogen energy storage backup power supplies.
The plan further delineates several key development areas:
- First, next-generation energy storage technologies, focusing on breakthroughs in long-duration energy storage solutions, such as all-solid-state batteries and flow batteries.
- Second, wind power equipment, with an emphasis on promoting the development and demonstration applications of deep-sea floating wind turbines.
- Third, photovoltaic equipment, advancing technologies for high-efficiency heterojunction and perovskite solar cells, and developing offshore floating photovoltaic equipment.
