On August 25, the Lingzhi-09 Thai CubeSat, developed by Galaxy Space, successfully reached its designated orbit. This satellite will be used to gather remote sensing data on Thailand’s land, agriculture, and ecological conditions, marking a significant milestone: it is the first instance of a Chinese commercial aerospace company completing the entire process of developing, launching, and delivering a fully operational satellite to a Southeast Asian customer. Currently, Galaxy Space has established a comprehensive business ecosystem that spans satellite R&D, manufacturing, launch services, and international delivery. To date, the company has successfully launched a total of 49 satellites that it developed in-house. According to the Tianyancha App, Galaxy Space (Beijing) Technology Group Co., Ltd. boasts registered capital of RMB 360 million, has 41 shareholders, and holds 248 patents. The company has also made 20 external investments, with shareholders including the Beijing Commercial Aerospace and Low-Altitude Economy Industry Investment Fund, among others.
