On August 21, Mingyang Smart Energy proudly announced that the world's inaugural Mingyang Tianqi MCD5.0 MW ultra-low wind speed wind turbine, developed with its independent technological prowess, rolled off the assembly line at its Guizhou manufacturing base. Tailored explicitly for regions characterized by ultra-low wind speeds, this innovative turbine boasts an exceptionally low cut-in wind speed of merely 2.5 meters per second and a swept area per kilowatt of 7.74 square meters per kilowatt. Remarkably, at a wind speed of 4.5 meters per second, it is capable of generating power for up to 1,850 hours annually.
