Elon Musk revealed during SpaceX's first quarterly earnings call that, subject to regulatory approval, the Starship will conduct its 14th test flight by the end of August, attempting to recover the upper stage using a tower and deploying a payload into orbit for the first time. This year, SpaceX also plans to attempt to recover the first and second stages of the Starship V3. SpaceX stated that both the Starship upper stage and the Super Heavy first-stage booster are designed for full and rapid reusability. Musk predicted that within a year, the Starship will achieve a flight frequency of at least once per day, or even more.
