On August 4, the Standardization Administration of China revealed that starting from January of the coming year, three compulsory national standards concerning energy consumption and efficiency within the photovoltaic sector will be formally enforced. These standards are set to impose stringent limits on the market entry of inefficient products, manage energy consumption right from the production phase, and spur technological advancements and eco-friendly transitions within the photovoltaic industry.
