On July 31, the Executive Meeting of the State Council greenlit four nuclear power projects: the second phase of the Zhejiang Jinqimen Nuclear Power Station, the third phase of the Guangdong Taipingling Nuclear Power Station, the first phase of the Liaoning Zhuanghe Nuclear Power Station, and the first phase of the Shandong Laiyang Nuclear Power Station. In total, eight new units were approved, with an overall investment surpassing 170 billion yuan. During the bidding process for the preliminary projects of these units, Shanghai-based nuclear power enterprises successfully secured orders amounting to nearly 50 billion yuan.
