The reporter has obtained information indicating that the international standard titled "Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies - Technical Framework and Functional Requirements for Blockchain as a Service", which is primarily led by China, has recently received the green light for development from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). A diverse group of countries, including Germany, the UK, Ireland, Japan, Portugal, and Uganda, will be actively involved in its formulation process.

Blockchain as a Service (BaaS), a widely adopted commercial blockchain service model, boasts several key advantages. It features low barriers to entry, allowing for broader participation; controllable costs, ensuring financial feasibility; and flexible scalability, accommodating varying needs. These attributes collectively make BaaS the preferred choice for global enterprises seeking to explore and implement blockchain technology applications.

According to industry research statistics, a staggering number of over 100,000 application projects have been constructed on the foundation of BaaS. These projects span a wide range of sectors, including supply chain finance, product traceability, and digital evidence storage, demonstrating the versatility and potential of BaaS in various industries.
