The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has introduced new regulations that will benefit rocket launch companies such as Elon Musk's SpaceX and Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin. The new rules allow the FAA to waive certain requirements for commercial space licenses and permits under 13 laws, including portions of the National Environmental Policy Act, Endangered Species Act, Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, as well as the National Historic Preservation Act and Marine Mammal Protection Act.
