The Chicago Mercantile Exchange Group officially entered the market for all-day leveraged long and short trading by investors on Monday, launching cash-settled single stock futures based on 55 U.S. stocks and micro contracts for 22 stocks. These contracts are traded on CME's Globex platform from Sunday evening to Friday afternoon, with only a one-hour maintenance break each day. This enables investors to respond swiftly to earnings reports and other market-moving events outside of regular U.S. stock market trading hours. The launched products include futures related to SpaceX, as well as contracts for companies such as Micron Technology, NVIDIA, Tesla, and Apple.
