On July 24, 2026, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL) unveiled an update on the progress of its 'Dual Enhancement of Quality and Profitability' strategy. During the first half of 2026, the company generated revenue amounting to RMB 276.917 billion, marking a significant year-on-year surge of 54.8%. Its net profit soared to RMB 43.284 billion, reflecting a robust year-on-year growth of 41.98%. CATL also expanded its market share in power batteries to 40.2% and secured the top spot globally in terms of energy storage battery shipments. Furthermore, CATL announced plans to distribute a cash dividend of RMB 14.11 for every 10 shares held and expressed intentions to repurchase shares with an investment ranging from RMB 20 billion to RMB 40 billion.
