Wang Xingxing, the founder and CEO of Unitree Robotics, has achieved a remarkable feat by gracing the cover of TIME magazine alongside the company's groundbreaking humanoid mecha, GD01. In his first-ever exclusive interview with international media, Wang disclosed that the design inspiration for GD01 was, in part, drawn from the iconic film Avatar, a revelation that garnered high acclaim from TIME.

Embodied artificial intelligence (AI) is steadily transitioning from a mere science fiction concept to tangible real-world applications. Morgan Stanley, a leading financial services firm, has projected a substantial future market size for this burgeoning sector. Currently, numerous companies are actively venturing into the humanoid robot industry. However, Unitree Robotics stands out as the undisputed leader in global humanoid robot shipments. Its delivery volume is anticipated to surpass 5,500 units by 2025, capturing over a quarter of the global market share.

Elon Musk, the renowned entrepreneur and visionary, commented that, apart from China, no other country has yet produced competitive humanoid robot companies of comparable stature.
