According to multiple sources familiar with the matter, SpaceX has begun to politely decline orders from satellite operators for dedicated launch missions using the Falcon 9 rocket after 2028, highlighting Musk's shift in focus to the unproven Starship spacecraft. One of the sources stated that the industry giant, whose business spans rockets, satellites, and artificial intelligence, has ceased production of certain non-reusable components for the Falcon rocket series.
