Microsoft has rolled out a novel properties panel in the experimental build 26300.8935 of Windows 11, ushering in a departure from the traditional dialog box that has persisted since the Windows 95 days. Leveraging WinUI 3 technology, this new panel marks a departure from the Win32 architecture and, for the first time, incorporates support for dark mode. This move effectively resolves the long-standing issue of inconsistent visual presentation within the system's dark mode. Presently, its implementation is limited to the properties window of deleted files, with the timeline for a broader rollout still pending confirmation.
