SpaceX has officially announced that its Starship is scheduled to embark on its 13th test flight as early as 6:45 PM (18:45) this Thursday, with a launch window extending for 90 minutes. The primary objectives of this test flight include rigorous verification of stage separation, engine performance, and controlled re-entry capabilities. Notably, this mission will also feature the inaugural deployment of 20 cutting-edge Starlink V3 satellites, which are outfitted with state-of-the-art laser links.
Musk has expressed that the data gleaned from this test flight will be instrumental in paving the way for successful rocket recovery at sea during the subsequent 14th test flight.
