On July 7th, the "Millennium Origin · Nuclear Energy Innovation" event, focusing on the launch of full-chain technology achievements for an autonomous and controllable carbon-14 nuclear battery, took place in Lanzhou. This event was hosted by Northwest Normal University and organized by Gansu Zhulong Technology Co., Ltd. During the ceremony, two pivotal scientific research accomplishments were officially introduced: the "Millennium Origin Tianshu Carbon-14 Nuclear Battery" and the "Millennium Origin Nengshu Silicon Carbide Energy Transducer." In comparison to the "Zhulong-1" micro nuclear battery engineering prototype, which was released in November 2024, the "Millennium Origin" series has achieved five significant advancements. These include a novel radioactive source adaptation system, efficient energy conversion technology, a three-dimensional stacked packaging structure, an intelligent energy storage power management system, and a high-precision sensing and wireless transmission system. These developments have established a domestically produced, self-reliant, and controllable technology and intellectual property framework. These pioneering achievements have surpassed the constraints of traditional technology, facilitating a systematic upgrade towards miniaturization, high power output, cost-effectiveness, and high integration, thereby possessing immense industrial significance.
