During the first half of 2026, the Hong Kong stock market concluded its Initial Public Offering (IPO) activities on a high note, with 85 companies successfully making their public debuts. Notably, China International Capital Corporation (CICC) emerged as a key player, sponsoring 28 IPOs and underwriting 36 new listings, thus taking the lead in the market. In parallel, prominent Chinese securities firms, including Guotai Junan Securities (Hong Kong), CITIC Securities, Huatai Securities, and GF Securities, also accelerated their international business expansion strategies.
