A senior executive from the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) stated on Tuesday at the Global Energy Show that the company is pursuing cooperation opportunities in Canada's upstream and liquefied natural gas (LNG) sectors through its international business arm, XRG. The UAE is expanding its overseas energy investments, while Canada aims to diversify its export markets. Late last year, the Canadian Prime Minister made an official visit to the UAE, setting the tone for bilateral cooperation.
