Mind Robotics, a robotics startup founded by Rivian founder and CEO RJ Scaringe, has recently completed a new round of funding totaling $400 million, bringing its total funding to over $1 billion and valuing the company at $3.4 billion. Founded late last year, Mind Robotics is working closely with Rivian, planning to train and deploy hundreds of intelligent robots in Rivian's factories, with the long-term goal of becoming a robot supplier for the entire manufacturing industry. The company was initially established to address labor shortages at Rivian's factories, and Rivian currently holds a stake in it. Currently, numerous tech giants and startups are racing to invest in the development of intelligent robots, with investors anticipating explosive growth in the industrial and household robot markets.
