On May 7, Huayou Cobalt made an announcement stating that, in a strategic move to deepen its overseas resource deployment, the company has entered into a Scheme Implementation Agreement with Atlantic Lithium Limited, a company listed on the Australian stock exchange. The agreement outlines the acquisition of 100% of Atlantic Lithium's shares at a pre-agreed price of $210 million. The final payment amount will be adjusted in accordance with the capital gains tax regulations set forth by the Ghana Revenue Authority.
