Zhiyuan Robotics has officially announced the successful completion of the first round of commercial deliveries for its Expedition A3 robot. The initial batch of robots was handed over to Qihong Cultural Tourism and Xiuka Technology by partner Wang Chuang. These robots are set to be deployed at major tourist attractions and cultural sites across Qidong, where they will take on responsibilities such as intelligent guidance services. With all orders now confirmed, the company is experiencing a surge in demand due to tight production capacity in the first half of the year, resulting in a situation where supply falls short of market needs.
During the first half of the year, the Expedition A3 primarily focused on serving the cultural and entertainment performance industry. Looking ahead, the A3 Ultra model is slated for release in the latter half of the year, specifically designed for a wider range of deployment scenarios. The robot incorporates Zhiyuan’s proprietary joint technology, which allows for a lighter build and an impressive thrust-to-weight ratio. This design enables the robot to execute dynamic movements, including backflips. Additionally, the Expedition A3 is compatible with the Lingchuang platform, offers a standard battery life of 10 hours, supports quick battery swaps, and is capable of 24-hour continuous operation.
