On April 12, Zhiyuan Robotics achieved a significant global milestone by delivering the inaugural batch of its full-sized humanoid robots, the Expedition A3, in Qidong, Jiangsu Province. Launched as Zhiyuan’s flagship innovation for 2026, the A3 stands 173cm tall, weighs 55kg, and boasts an instantaneous power output of 12kW, achieving an impressive thrust-to-weight ratio of 0.218kW/kg—a metric underscoring its advanced engineering.
The initial deployment of the A3 robots will focus on key scenic destinations and cultural institutions, where they will assume roles in intelligent guided tours, immersive cultural performances, and streamlined operational management. Looking ahead, Zhiyuan has announced plans to introduce the A3 Ultra in the second half of the year, engineered specifically for round-the-clock operational readiness, catering to industries requiring uninterrupted service.
