The "Guidelines for Promoting High-Quality Development of the Biomedical Industry in Zhejiang Province (Draft for Public Comment)" have recently been released for public feedback, with a proposal to broaden the application scenarios for novel products. Centered around research hospitals, pilot projects will be initiated to demonstrate and promote innovative pharmaceuticals and medical devices. Efforts will be made to incorporate key products and representative scenarios into national initiatives aimed at advancing high-end medical equipment. Concurrently, leveraging the national pilot base for the industrial application of artificial intelligence, Zhejiang will develop cutting-edge brain-computer interface applications in medical treatment, rehabilitation, and health intervention scenarios. Furthermore, the province will actively promote new application scenarios such as telemedicine, precision medicine, and AI-driven gene diagnostics, fostering and constructing a vibrant new ecosystem of "Internet + Medicine."
