On April 8, 2026, ZTO Airlines orchestrated a grand launch ceremony for its inaugural A330P2F cargo aircraft, christened 'ZTO Express,' and concurrently unveiled the commencement of its first intercontinental freight route stretching from China to Europe. This wide-body cargo aircraft, ingeniously transformed from an Airbus A330 passenger jet, marks ZTO Airlines' maiden foray into owning its own cargo aircraft, boasting a substantial maximum cargo capacity of around 61 tons. It is slated for imminent transfer to Budapest and is poised to officially kick off commercial operations on the round-trip route linking Budapest and Hong Kong, China, on April 20. ZTO Airlines, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ZTO Express, is strategically positioning itself to bolster its comprehensive logistics service prowess and construct a state-of-the-art cross-border logistics framework that seamlessly integrates air and ground transportation, is independently controllable, and globally interconnected, through its entry into the air freight market.
