The team of Jian Sun and Qingjie Ge from the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, has developed a novel catalytic strategy that efficiently converts syngas into low-carbon olefins under mild conditions, addressing challenges in traditional processes. The related achievements have been published in Nature. This technological breakthrough significantly reduces the energy consumption of syngas conversion, providing a new pathway for clean coal utilization and low-carbon chemical engineering. In the future, the team will continue to optimize the catalytic system to promote its industrial application.
