On March 31, during the opening ceremony of the 14th International Energy Storage Summit and Exhibition, the Energy Storage Industry Research White Paper 2026, published by the China Energy Storage Alliance (CNESA), unveiled a promising outlook. It projected that by the end of 2025, China's total installed capacity for new energy storage would surpass 100 GW, constituting over two-thirds of the nation's overall power storage capacity. This milestone marks the first time that China's share in the global new energy storage market will exceed half, reaching a significant 51.9%.

In terms of financial performance, data compiled by Shujubao, based on the lower bounds of net profit attributable to shareholders as reported in the 2025 annual reports, preliminary earnings announcements, and forecasts, indicates that 23 energy storage concept stocks are anticipated to experience year-on-year growth in net profit attributable to shareholders (inclusive of turning losses into profits) in 2025. Notably, four of these stocks—Enjie Technology, Shanshan Co., Ltd., Great Power Energy, and GoodWe—are expected to transition from losses to profits, further underscoring the sector's robust performance.
