As reported by CCTV News, on March 23, the official event details for the 2026 Beijing Yizhuang Half Marathon, which will also feature a Humanoid Robot Half Marathon, were announced. The race is scheduled to commence on April 19, where human runners will race side by side with humanoid robots. By the registration deadline of 24:00 on March 10, the organizing committee had already received applications from over 100 participating teams. These teams represented 76 different entities spanning 13 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across the country. Among them were more than 80 corporate teams and over 20 teams from universities and training camps, showcasing a total of 26 brands and over 300 humanoid robots.
