The optical communication sector witnessed a significant surge, with AAOI soaring nearly 9% and Lumentum climbing more than 4%. The majority of popular Chinese concept stocks also advanced, with Nio jumping over 15%, Futu Holdings increasing by more than 7%, iQiyi rising over 5%, Alibaba gaining more than 3%, and XPeng Motors climbing over 2%.
