On March 7, during the second "Members' Passage" session of the fourth plenary meeting of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Liu Zheng, the chief technologist at the Capital Aerospace Machinery Company, which operates under the First Academy of the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), made a notable statement. He highlighted that while it took China 37 years to reach its first 100 rocket launches following the country's inaugural rocket launch, the most recent 100 launches were accomplished in just over a year. He further emphasized that some of China's advancements in aerospace technology have ventured into "uncharted territory," and it is through independent innovation that China can secure a leading position in the fiercely competitive international arena.
