On March 6, the economic-themed press conference of the Fourth Session of the 14th National People's Congress was held at the Media Center in Beijing. Wu Qing, Chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, stated that the reform of the Growth Enterprise Market (GEM) will be deepened soon, emphasizing its functional positioning and expanding its institutional inclusiveness and coverage. The reform will introduce a more precise and inclusive set of listing standards to support high-quality entrepreneurial enterprises in new industries, new business forms, new technology sectors, as well as emerging consumption and modern service industries to go public. The overall plan for deepening the GEM reform has largely taken shape and will be released at an appropriate time.
