Zhong Baoshen, a delegate to the National People's Congress, remarked that under the guidance of relevant policies, the photovoltaic industry has achieved initial success in "curbing cutthroat competition," with the price downturn across the entire industrial chain initially brought under control. However, the recovery pace varies among different industry segments, highlighting the need for ongoing reforms to foster high-quality development. During this year’s sessions of the National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, representatives and members from the photovoltaic sector focused on tackling "cutthroat competition" within the industry. Zhong Baoshen proposed establishing financing regulatory metrics for the photovoltaic industry, drawing inspiration from the real estate sector’s "three red lines" policy. This would involve imposing financing restrictions on enterprises that fail to meet these standards, promoting mergers and acquisitions, refining the competitive ecosystem, and ensuring the industry's stable and sustainable operation.
