In the past six months, the research and development team at Hubei Donghu Laboratory has twice set global benchmarks in short-distance maglev acceleration. During a test on a high-speed maglev track, the vehicle, powered by electromagnetic force, surged from a complete stop to 800 km/h in a mere 5.3 seconds, setting a new world record for similar systems. This achievement is made possible by the precise control offered by the electromagnetic propulsion and operational control systems, enabling rapid acceleration and instantaneous braking over short distances. This breakthrough will provide crucial technical support for the development of next-generation high-speed maglev rail transportation and other innovative applications.
