On March 4, intelligence company IDTechEx predicted that the global humanoid robot market will reach approximately $29.5 billion by 2036. The automotive manufacturing and logistics sectors are expected to be the first to adopt humanoid robots, with expansion into broader commercial and consumer markets to follow. Currently, the development of humanoid robots still faces challenges, including battery energy density, thermal management issues, and supply chains not yet being ready for mass production. Technologically, limitations in the dexterity of hand movements and tactile perception also hinder the ability of humanoid robots to perform more advanced tasks.
