Finland's Donut Lab Unveils First Test Results for Solid-State Batteries: 80% Charged in 4.5 Minutes

Earlier this year, Finnish startup Donut Lab announced the launch of the world's first commercially viable, mass-produced all-solid-state batteries. These batteries boast an energy density of 400Wh/kg, can be fully charged in just 5 minutes, and endure up to 100,000 charge-discharge cycles, far surpassing the 5,000-cycle limit of traditional lithium-ion batteries. They maintain over 99% capacity retention in extreme temperatures ranging from -30°C to 100°C, with charging efficiency unaffected by temperature variations.
