Microsoft recently announced that it will expand the coverage of its Extended Security Update (ESU) program from Windows 10 to more Windows versions nearing the end of their support lifecycle, offering paid security patch services to enterprise customers using older systems. Previously, Windows 10 was set to end mainstream support in October 2025 and enter the ESU phase, allowing users to continue receiving security updates without upgrading their operating system.
