Microsoft has officially recognized the existence of two distinct issues that are impacting certain Windows 11 systems. Firstly, a critical security vulnerability has been identified, which triggers system crashes under specific GPU configurations. This vulnerability manifests as a KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE error, accompanied by a black or green screen during the crash sequence. Some users have reported encountering this error while playing the game "Genshin Impact." Fortunately, this issue has been successfully addressed in the February 2026 update, with the fix being incorporated into Windows 11 Build 26200.7840 or subsequent versions.

Secondly, another vulnerability has been discovered that affects WPA3 wireless network connections. This particular issue stemmed from the optional January 2026 update KB5074105. However, Microsoft has also rectified this vulnerability in Build 26200.7840 (KB5077181). Despite the fact that these issues have been resolved in the February update, it is important to note that the patches are being deployed in a phased manner. Consequently, users may still experience some anomalies in the short term as the updates gradually roll out across different systems.
