According to an official statement released by SpaceX, at 7:47 a.m. Pacific Time (23:47 Beijing Time) on February 2nd, a Falcon 9 rocket, carrying 25 Starlink satellites, soared into the sky from the Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. The initial two firings of the Merlin engine on the rocket's second stage went off without a hitch, successfully placing the 25 satellites into their designated orbits. However, after the satellites were deployed, an unexpected issue arose in the rocket's second stage during its preparation for deorbit ignition. Following this, the rocket underwent passivation in line with the pre-planned procedure. The mission team is now meticulously analyzing the data and has decided to put subsequent launch missions on hold.
