A research report from Morgan Stanley reveals that China's robotics industry is undergoing a phase of explosive expansion. The report has adjusted its projection for humanoid robot sales in China, estimating that sales will soar to 28,000 units in 2026. This figure signifies a remarkable 133% increase from the previous year. Furthermore, the report anticipates that sales will escalate to 262,000 units by 2030 and skyrocket to 2.6 million units by 2035, in stark contrast to the roughly 12,000 units sold in the previous year. The report delves into the analysis, pointing out that the reduction in production costs is a pivotal factor propelling the surge in humanoid robot sales. It is anticipated that the cost of raw materials required for production will plummet by 16% this year, thereby further fueling market demand. The robust performance of leading firms in China's humanoid robotics sector lends strong support to this optimistic outlook. Notably, Unitree Technology is projected to dispatch over 5,500 units in 2025, with more than 6,500 units rolling off the production line. Its order volume surpasses its shipment volume. Additionally, Agibot Robotics is expected to dispatch over 5,100 units in 2025, with the potential to reach tens of thousands of units by 2026.
