During the 2026 Beijing International Commercial Space Forum, Li Jun, the Chief Engineer at Galactic Energy, announced that the company's reusable liquid rocket, the Pallas-2, is slated for its inaugural flight in 2026. This rocket represents a significant advancement as a large, modular, and reusable liquid-fueled carrier rocket, boasting a diameter of 4.5 meters. It comes in two variants: the Standard Version and the CBC Version. The Standard Version has an approximate takeoff mass of 757 tons, generating a takeoff thrust of around 910 tons, and is capable of carrying a payload of 20 tons to Low Earth Orbit (LEO). On the other hand, the CBC Version features a takeoff mass of roughly 1950 tons, with a takeoff thrust of about 2730 tons, and can deliver a payload of 58 tons to LEO.
