Ronbay Technology made an announcement via a statement, revealing that it has entered into a Procurement Cooperation Agreement with CATL concerning Lithium Iron Phosphate Cathode Materials. As per the terms of the agreement, spanning from the first quarter of 2026 to 2031, Ronbay Technology is slated to provide CATL with a substantial 3.05 million tonnes of lithium iron phosphate cathode materials for the domestic market. This supply is projected to generate total sales exceeding RMB 120 billion. The agreement carries legal weight and is binding for both parties involved.
At present, the overseas market for lithium iron phosphate power batteries presents enormous potential. Furthermore, the ongoing cost reductions in solar cell and energy storage battery technologies, when combined with the advancements in AI technology and the synergistic benefits arising from the convergence of these three technologies, have genuinely heralded the arrival of the new energy era. This has ignited an explosive surge in the energy storage industry.
