On January 12 local time, Airbus released its operational data for 2025: A total of 793 commercial aircraft were delivered to 91 customers worldwide throughout the year, representing a year-on-year increase of 4%; 1,000 net new orders were secured; and as of the end of December 2025, the backlog of orders reached 8,754, setting a new record high for year-end.
