China AMC is set to team up with Thai brokerage InnovestX Securities to concurrently list depositary receipts (DRs) associated with the 'China AMC CSI 300 ETF' and 'China AMC STAR 50 ETF' on the Thailand Stock Exchange. This milestone not only signifies the inaugural foray of China AMC's Shanghai Stock Exchange-listed ETFs into overseas markets via the DR model but also heralds a substantial leap in fostering deeper collaboration between the Chinese and Thai capital markets. Prior to this, China AMC had already forged a partnership with Thai asset manager Asia Plus Securities to introduce the inaugural feeder fund linked to the A500 index.

The crux of this issuance centers on showcasing 'China's Cutting-Edge Tech.' The STAR 50 Index amalgamates leading firms within strategic emerging sectors. The listing of the China AMC STAR 50 ETF DR addresses a void in Southeast Asia for investing in China's 'cutting-edge tech' sector. Simultaneously, the CSI 300 ETF's debut offers a conduit for allocating resources to China's premier high-quality assets, thereby crafting a strategic blueprint of 'core assets + cutting-edge tech.' By harnessing the interconnectivity mechanism, this initiative forges a cross-border ecosystem, streamlining cross-border investment processes and luring overseas medium- and long-term capital. Concurrently, the project incorporates risk disclaimers to ensure investor awareness.
