The United States Postal Service announced that it will launch a bidding process starting from late January or early February next year for shippers wishing to use its 'last-mile' delivery network. At that time, shippers can submit bids based on a combination of shipment volume, pricing, and bidding timeframes across the agency's 18,000 delivery points. The United States Postal Service will provide same-day or next-day delivery services based on customer preferences.
